5 on Friday

As always, here are 5 special reasons I’m loving my boys this week:

1.  Me: What are you building? J: A fire truck. Me: And what’s this? J: The spray hose so it doesn’t burn.

2.  Me: Nate go brush your teeth and your inhaler. Nate: I..D..O..N..T..H..A..V..E..T..O. Me: Umm yes you do have to brush your teeth AND take your inhaler.

3.  Nate: Mom I have to watch the news. Me: Oh yeah, why? Nate: Dad said to check it out and if I didn’t wanna stay down there with him I could watch up here. Me: Oh okay, do you know what you’re looking for. Nevermind I’ll text dad...ok he said it’s about GM. Nate: Well I know they redid their logo, what we don’t know is what electric vehicles it’s going on and if it’s going on the Ren Cen.

4.  J: Mom, your face is pretty. Me: Aww thanks J. J: Yeah, you’re my best friend.

5.  Carl: Hey look at the deer in the front yard. Me: I forgot to tell you about what happened the other day when I checked the mail, I wasn’t sure if it would attack so I turned around. Carl: Yeah usually they’re good and leave you alone. Nate: Well geese attack people. Me: Yeah they attacked you since you were bad. Nate: NOOO they attack everyone! J: Yeah, I think they eat your head.
